Friends of Union County Library (FOUCL) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization of volunteers. All funds raised by FOUCL are used to support public libraries (especially Union County Public Library in Blairsville, Georgia), promote literacy, and inspire lifelong learning. Mon, Wed, and Fri from 9-5, Tues and Thurs from 9-6, and Sat from 9-3


FOUCL MEMBERSHIP

The Value of Membership
  • We contribute funds for programs such as the Children’s Summer Reading Program.
  • We support Ferst Readers (a nonprofit children’s literacy program which provides free monthly books to registered children from birth to age 5).
  • We purchase picture books which we give to library families.
  • We contribute money to the Union County Public Library for many of their programs.
  • We recognize and support UCPL staff during National Library Worker’s Day in April and at Christmas.
